Gas spraying The use of suitable special equipment, spraying when the need for dilution
Brush/Roller Applicable, recommended for pre-coating and small-scale coating

CONSTRUCTION CONDITIONS

The substrate temperature shall be at least 3 ℃ higher than the air dew point, and the relative humidity shall be lower than 85%. The measurement of temperature and humidity should be carried out at the substrate near the operation point. When the construction is not in an open space, good ventilation must be provided to ensure the normal drying of the paint film.

Surface treatment

All surfaces to be coated shall be clean, dry and free of contaminants.
Newly built: Remove weld spatter and polish welds and sharp edges at the surface to be painted, and areas of damaged welds and shop primer shall be sandblasted to Class Sa2.5 or Power Tool to Class St3. Complete approved shop primers must be clean, dry and free of soluble salts and surface contaminants. Unapproved shop primer to be blasted to Sa2.5
or to the Flying Whale New Material Company.
Overhaul: the surface to be painted shall be sandblasted and cleaned to level Sa2.5.
Repair/in-flight maintenance: the surface of the damaged area shall be cleaned by sandblasting to Grade Sa2.5 or treated by power tools to Grade St3. For the sandblasted area, primer shall be applied before oxidation occurs. If oxidation does occur, the whole oxidized area shall be sandblasted again.
The surface of coated steel plate: clean with high-pressure water jet to meet the VIS WJ2L level of SSPC standard.
