Flying Whale High Solid Epoxy Glass Flake Paint 680
Product overview
Two-component ultra-high solid content polyamine adduct cured epoxy glass flake.
Recommended use
At the same time, it can be applied to offshore equipment and onshore facilities. It is specially designed for industrial heavy anti-corrosion and other harsh corrosive environments. The glass flake strengthening technology can effectively improve the impact resistance and wear resistance of the coating. It has excellent anti-cracking performance, sea water resistance and anti-corrosion performance. The single coating completed by one coating can achieve long-term protection effect and can be compatible with well-designed cathodic protection system, it has strong adhesion in a variety of surface states, and can also be applied to wet sandblasted substrates (whether the surface is dry or wet).

CONSTRUCTION CONDITIONS
During the coating process and coating curing process, ensure that the substrate temperature is higher than 0°C (32 °F), and the surface temperature of the substrate during the coating process should be at least 3°C (5 °F) higher than the dew point temperature.
Surface treatment
The performance and quality of the coating depend on the quality grade of the surface treatment. Bare steel: sand blasting meets the ISO-8501-1 Sa2 or Sa2 ½ of the international standard. The surface roughness after sand blasting is recommended to be controlled at 40-80 microns. High-pressure water jet cleaning meets the WJ2/3 L of SSPC-VIS 4 standard. Wheel pieces polished to St3; Primer steel coated in workshop: slightly sweep sand or use elastic grinding wheel to polish the corroded part to Grade St3; For welding, flame cutting or burning parts: after removing welding slag and spatter, polish them with elastic grinding wheel to Grade St3 to determine the pre-coating compatible with them: the surface must be clean and dry, and all pollutants have been removed.

Remarks:
-For dark coatings in tidal areas such as dams and piles, if the coating is prematurely submerged in water in the undried state after completion, it may appear that the surface is white, but it will not substantially affect the final corrosion resistance of the coating.
-Continuous and smooth adequate ventilation must be ensured during the application and curing of the coating.
